Let's Motor!

If you're feeling the need for speed, you're certainly not going to find it in a taxi on a congestion-clogged street in Manhattan. But if you've got a spare $100K lying around, you might want to consider membership in the brand-new Monticello Motor Club, a sportscar enthusiast's dream come true. Think country club meets Formula 1 and you've got a good idea of the thrills Monticello has in store when it begins putting car lovers behind the wheel of Bugattis and Ferraris this summer.
Potential new members got a sneak peek on Tuesday, during a swank reception at Cipriani 42. In attendance were several members of racing's royalty, including Mario Andretti, Brian Redman and Bobby Rahal, who took to the stage for a virtual turn on the Monticello racetrack, a 3.7-mile course ninety minutes from Manhattan.
Something tells us it might be time to pull out the old golf clubs and exchange them for a set of racing gloves.
