This Could Get Ugly

Normally, we don't advocate staying home to play board games (there are far too many things to do in New York City for that), but we'll make an exception for members of the cast of Ugly Betty, who gathered at the Toys R Us in Times Square this morning to promote Family National Game night, which takes place next Wednesday, September 23.

Mark Indelicato, Tony Plana and Ana Ortiz,  (who play Betty's nephew, father and sister, respectively) broke out their beloved Hasbro games (including one of our favorites...OK, we admit it...Guesstures) and settled in for a wild round of competitive play. If you do decide to throw your own game-a-palooza and settle on Monopoly, make sure you snag Park Place. Trust us, Baltic Avenue isn't worth your time.

Oh, So Chic. (And Eco, Too.)

T-Rex may be extinct, but we don't have to be. Not as long as we act now and think about the environment when we go clothing shopping. And to prove that you can look like a million without spending a million on carbon offsets, the American Museum of Natural History hosted Be EcoChic tonight, an event that showcased a posse of eco-minded celebs strutting their stuff on a runway where sustainability went hand in hand with style. Lending their boldfaced names tonight (whether by attending or sashaying) were Adrian Grenier, Lauren Hutton, Olesya Rulin, Chevy and Jayni Chase, Angela Lindvall, Darren Moore, Boise Thomas, Patti Hansen, Theodora Richards, Tori Praver, Coltrane Curtis, Kimberly Pinkson, Carter Oosterhouse, Patti Hansen, Jayni Chase, Tamara Tunie, Former Miss USA, Susie Castillo, Malin Akerman, Alek Wek, Mark Indelicato, Alex Meneses, James Lesure, Kelly Bensimon, Tamara Feldman, Dominique Swain, Tom Kostigen, Joy Lauren and Laura Turner Seydel. And here's the good news....if it turns out that it's too late for the Earth after all, at least we'll go out in style.
