Fifty is Nifty, Say Four Seasons & Guggenheim

Turning half-a-century old is not nearly so painful when you've got a good bone structure. Both the Four Seasons restaurant and the Guggenheim Museum turn fifty this year, and to celebrate, last night the two institutions hosted a special dinner. Set in the legendary Pool Room of the Four Seasons, the meal provided the ideal opportunity for guests to ponder the enduring architectural legacy of the architects of these two mid-century buildings: Frank Lloyd Wright (the Guggenheim) and Philip Johnson (the Four Seasons). Here's to what the next fifty years may have in store for both institutions.
