A Good Turn, Turn, Turn

Chelsea Clinton and her father, Bill, will be at SoulCycle in Bridgehampton this weekend for a high-adrenaline benefit for the Clinton Bush Haiti Fund. The spinning studio, which opened in the Hamptons this summer, is already a huge hit among fitness-crazed celebs, and made such a big splash in Bridgehampton that it's often difficult to secure a bike on weeekends. That will not be a problem tomorrow--providing you've ponied up anywhere from $500 to $5,000 for a one-hour ride benefitting the charity founded by Presidents #40 and #41.

If those two former commanders in chief can get it together for a cause, you can certainly get it together to spin for an hour. This is no time for resistance. Do it!

Because Diamonds Are a Girl's Best Friend

There were diamonds aplenty last night (and other jewels, too), thanks to Van Cleef & Arpels and New York's ladies who lunch—dazzling socialites who put on their finest gemstone jewelry for the School of American Ballet Winter Ball, held at the David H. Koch Theater, at Lincoln Center. It was all in the name of the school's 75th anniversary, a jubilee that will not soon be forgotten. Among those taking in a performance by the schoolchildren of the S.A.B. included Sarah Jessica Parker and former First Daughter Chelsea Clinton. And among those expected at the after-party (appropriately dubbed "Encore") were Penn Badgley and Blake Lively of Gossip Girl and master of electronica Moby.
