Learn to Dance Like MJ, Gaga and More!

Summer may be unofficially over after this weekend, but that does not get you off the hook for staying in shape.

So here's my advice: If you loathe the gym but love to dance, get yourself to Broadway Bodies. Taught by instructors who are actual Broadway dancers, the classes will help you perfect music video moves pulled off by the likes of Lady Gaga, Beyoncé and Michael and Janet Jackson and even the cast of Glee. You can also learn dance routines from Great White Way shows like Mamma Mia! and Chicago. At a mere $15 per class, they're both affordable and fun.

I had the opportunity to pop in for a class on a recent "Michael Jackson Monday," and had a blast. Watch my segment (created for Citybuzz), below.

MTV may no longer be showing music videos, but there's no reason you can't bring them to life at home. Give it a try!

Drew Lachey, on the Brighter Side of Life

Drew Lachey and the cast of Spamalot perform at the 2008 Broadway on Broadway. Photo by Emile Wamsteker. Drew Lachey, Bebe Neuwirth and Cheyenne Jackson were among the headliners appearing in this morning's "Broadway on Broadway" performance, held in the heart of Manhattan. More than 200 of the Great White Way's actors showed up in Times Square, hailing from shows including Avenue Q, Chicago, In the Heights, Spamalot, Xanadu and Young Frankenstein. Bailey Hanks and the cast of \ The free extravaganza, hosted by Lachey, was the seventeenth annual outing for Broadway on Broadway. For fans of big-budget musicals, the show is one of the year's easy-on-the-wallet must-sees. After all, without spending a dime, where else could you find a Greek muse masquerading as an Australian on roller skates in the same space as a medieval knight plucked from the wacky collective genius that is Monty Python?

Caviar Guaranteed To Get You Tipsy

xaviar-and-cocktail.jpgDaniel Boulud, one of the most famous members of New York's restaurant royalty, has never been one for serving up molecular gastronomy in his restaurants. Instead, the concept of cuisine created through chemistry has been the provenance of chefs like Ferran Adrià, of Spain's El Bulli, and Grant Achatz, of Chicago's Alinea. But last night, the hallowed walls of restaurant Daniel, on East 65th Street, shimmered with the gleam of "caviar beads" made from gellified Cointreau. Created by head bartender Xavier Herit, (above) the new cocktail—a strawberry margarita with a side of perfectly shaped pearls made from strawberry-infused Cointreau—took its place among Daniel's bar offerings. For $29. Steep for a margarita—even at Daniel—but what you're paying for here is the preparation, which is done right before your eyes. Syringes, strainers and all. Needless to say, it's a lot more involved than pouring a perfect Guinness. And a lot more colorful. INSIDER TIP: Ask nicely and bartender Herit may just show you the supersized silver briefcase containing all of the tools a would-be master mixologist needs to create Cointreau magic. champagne-and-pearls.jpg INSIDE TIP #2: The caviar beads also go well with a glass of Piper Heisieck Champagne (pictured left).
